Tweeter review was from this article. DE250 was quite solidly beat byt BMS and 18Sound Grand Comparatif de Compressions 1 pouce - JustDIYIt !.
If you mean the 12NMB420, it was this thread 2-Way DiY Hifi speakers eighteensound. Other suggestion was Faital 12FH520.
Unfortunately I got the confirmation that QSC HPR152i is completely unavailable. I'm willing to try a different horn of course, for example that Eminence WG10, but I have no idea what woofer to pair with it. I'm also quite curious about the XT1086 because of the comments I've read on it. It is said to be very neutral. I know that crossing at 1600hz with 12" midbass is a compromise, but isn't making a compromise just a fact anyone trying this sort of build has to accept?

That WG10 looks to be a nice waveguide (though I've never used it myself), but I think it's dimensions limit it to duty above ~1500Hz. So you might want to think about pairing it with a 10" driver. You might be able to stretch to a 12", but careful about directivity match around the crossover frequency.
I think you are putting to much concern into the drivers, unless you are relying on a proven crossover design for a known set of drivers.
At this point I have accepted the fact that I need to build a whole new crossover. My goal for the past few days has been to pick set of drivers that would be able to cross over nicely at 1400-1600hz. Now I start to understand that the list of possible part combinations is rather long. I'm just trying to gather opinions on the parts that interest me so that I can avoid mistakes that are not so visible for a beginner. Sorry for bombarding the topic with a million suggestions, but I promise we are getting close 😱.
Any opinions on LTH102 and BMS 5530ND paired together Test Bench: The BMS 1” 5530ND High-Efficiency Compression Driver | audioXpress For my purposes the LTH102 and XT1086 are pretty much interchangable. BMS measures well and seems to pair well with the Faital. Haven't found much discussion on BMS.
