Hello,
I'm working on a project where I want to use 2 potentiometers in series.
First on for master volume, it's output would go to the amplifier and to the second potentiometer that would control the subwoofer level.
Potentiometers are digital (DS1803-100k), but for the sake of simplicity lets say they are analog. Only problem is that they need gnd (from power supply, not audio signal) supplied to L pin, they won't work without it.

Now I'm worried that the second pot will mess up the resistance of first one.
Can I do it like that or no?
Thank you for anwsers.

That connection would not work very well. The wiper is normally the output, not the input.
There will still be some interaction between the two pots, so the lower the pot values, the better.

Hy, I would like to stick with these pots, I will try to wire them as you suggested on experimetal board and see what the result will be.
If interaction will be minimal I will be happy with it.
Thank you
