Looking for 2 position Rotary switch
Voltage 220v.
My transformer is rated at 6.5 amps
The pre-amp and buffer requires 3 amps.
Same switch (not the knob) employed in the amp below.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
A high power rotary switch with 6mm shaft is hard to find, I use a 0.25A rotary switch to control a line voltage high power relay.
9.5 Amps*220V=2090W. Are You sure the tubes handle that much ?
Look at 60s 70s vintage equipment
I remember disassembling baquellite ones from Preh and perhaps I have them lying around...

Pre-amp and buffer draws 3 amps at 12v.

That's 36W, which you divide by 220V to get the input current, which is then less than 0.2A.

You could use a fake rotary switch like the above (from Surplus Sales) - it is
actually a toggle switch controlled by a rotary action. Probably DIYable.
The "legendary" Tektronix 4xx scopes used a somewhat similar arrangement.
Maybe something like this would work?
Lot of 5 Arrow Hart H&H A-H&H 3A 250V DPDT Rotary Switches | eBay
I purchased a lot of these NOS switches for my recent EQ tube clone build. My total current draw is less than 1A and working like a charm.... If you're using 120V supply, these are rated at 6A.
