2 air way fan cooling on amp?

hi,

i was thinking about a way to cool up the heat sink of an amp using two fans while each one of them is blowing air in an opposite direction.... one fan blows air on the heat sink it self...and a few inches from that fan there is another fan sucking air away from the heat sink..

is this any good? to have a better air circulation? or should both fans blow air at the same direction ? (is yes....in or out?)
whats best to do?

i attached some cheap image drawing i made to illustrate exacly what i mean..

one more question, if an amp is being cooled good enough to not be in heat AT ALL....is this means best performance ?

i'll appreciate any help..

thanks alot

Trying to get fans to run quiet is no mean feat. Even running fans at half voltage still doesn't kill the noise completely.
My new valve amp needed a bit of fan cooling assistance, and its just not quiet enough for my taste.

thanks for the replys.

yeah fans will produce noise... but what if i use them on a car amp ? the amp anyway is put in the trunk so i dont care about noise...

the one who said a good heat sink will do ..its probably right...but i just thought of using fans for max cooling

cheers 🙂
