2.5way to reduce F3 for 3" woofer

Bravox 3" woofer available at partsexpress has Fs of 150 Hz. There is an example of a 2way with Tang Band tweeter. Can I throw in another Bravox 3" woofer and get down the F3 to say 80Hz. How will it sound? The XMAX is just 1 mm. Can anyone predict the success of this combination? I am willing to go active

IMO the Bravox unit doesn't qualify as a bass unit and
will be next to impossible to get down to 80Hz by adding
an identical unit.

You could add a better bass unit in parallel, but if you add
the cost of the two units perhaps starting off with a better
unit for 80Hz would be a better idea ?

HI SS,

Adding weight to the mid driver is a no-no.

Adding weight to the 'additional' driver won't work for several
reasons, tiny Vas, Q is too high, excursion is too low.
To get Fs down an octave, 150 to 75hz you need to quadruple
the wieght of the cone and efficiency will go completely down the
pan, so it would be pointless to add.

These are simply not bass drivers of any sort, look at the Vas for
a start, (then Fs, Q and excursion)
