My favorite part of all this is in the article he linked, (a nice DIY article showing how to make this amp) where the author says that it cost him a total of £375...

You have the cost of his time. He may be a Highly Compensated Audio Engineer.

In all seriousness, we should probably tone it down, we are going to drive this poor guy off the forum.

We have all been there - thinking our time on a build somehow adds value (and it definitely doesn't) , and our first amp was damn perfect / priceless, no?

If this was Nelson Pass' or John Curl's first (and abandoned) foray into Class D, would it be worth the $2k as a collectors item? Nah.
