Are there any D class amps capable of full power into 1 Ohm?
I have a pair of horror 'stats. Some D class manufacturers make a big deal of load tolerant response , but the same amps cant deliver full power into 1 Ohm, which ok is a big ask. And to make it even more difficult the 'stats Z is problematic at high frequencies where the amps output Z rises.
Any comments?

many of the are because of the high current that they can deliver, while not heating much.I thing people are using D-amps for subs, while they use bipolar for mid-high, where power si lower.
Coldamp modules are operational at 1 ohm also, until the current limit acts, at around 25A. That allows 300W aprox, doesn't worth the pain, imho. It is better to go to 2ohm at least.
I drove my 1R Apogee Scintillas with ZapPulse 2.2s, and drive them now with UcD 400s. No problems at all.
