1KHz tone frequency

Hi.
I have a vintage Quad Eight tone generator with the following frequencies: 30Hz, 100Hz, 700Hz, 3Khz, 10KHz and 15KHz. I want to use this unit to calibrate my analogue VU meters, but in order to do that I might need a 1KHz tone in order to measure 1.23V according to the following website: How to calibrate a VU meter?
Does anybody know what voltage I would have to look for if I use the 700Hz or 3KHz tone on my tone generator?

Plot the required voltage for the same VU meter reading at each of the frequencies you have available.

This will give you the frequency response of the VU meter.

Those results may help you decide what to do.

Agree and add: 700Hz should be fine.
Any decent VU meter should be flat within the audio band or it's useless junk to begin with.
The 1KHz tone was specified simply for convenience .
