Hi, I just recapped a Bogen J330. It has XLR low Z inputs, and they all are wired correctly according to schematic. Yet my low Z mics give little or not output through the Bogen. Loud buzzing too. Here's a clue: I have a low Z mic that has an inline transformer to Hi Z phone plug, which I then terminate with a Low Z XLR transformer. This works great! Go figure: low Z to high Z to low Z! I've never ever encountered such a baffling problem.
