3kW of power

I am VERY impressed if you can get 3 kW of power out of a transformer than comes from a 250 W poweramp.
The max size(voltage) transformer you should use with LM3886 is 2 x 30 V AC and for your 500-600 watt you need at least 1000VA I would say.
I don't see any problem in using 2 x 8 LM3886 in a brudged/parallel version. Just make sure to match the gain in each LM3886-stage and take care of the DC-offset, then you should be fine.......................you need a kind BIG PCB for 16 x LM3886
Have fun
