15W or 18W Revelator in a small room?

Illuminata from Hobby Hifi is quite expensive, about 1900 Euro for both.
I think I will go for the 15W Revelator Design from AOS. This uses an Illuminator Tweeter. Alternavly there was the same speaker with the 18W Revelator - but with the same Tweeter. So I could change easyly.
But I think the 15W is the best size for my situation.

I now have a Seas 2-Way with the ER15RLY and the 22TAF/G-Tweeter on my desktop. It plays quite nice, not as nice as the ATC (by far...) but its more relaxed for my ears. I think this woofersize is better for me.

I am very interested in the Jeff Bagby creations and also in the Carrera-Speaker but these kits are not so easy to order from Deutschland.

Thats for your help

You don’t need a kit. Buy the drivers and components and use the information on the site attached to build the Carreras.

Just another vote for the 15W8530K00, currently mine ported in 12L tuned to 42Hz, awaiting better weather to get finished. I've not heard a better 2 way this size, but I haven't heard every 2-way this size. I would say that though wouldn't I, this is DIY audio, this is why we do it.

They make me smile every time I hear them, going on 3 months now. I want for nothing more when paired with sub, but to be fair I can live without the sub. Downside is sensitivity if you're precious about that. I think these are 81-82dB from memory. Probably wouldn't try reference level HT with them. My room is 6Lx5Dx2.7H

I have the ported version of the 15w 8530 with a Scanspeak 2905-9500 tweeter. DIY 1st order crossover developed in x-Sim. Beautiful. Found the 18w 4531 for sale used be grabbed them. So build the Rediscovery as found in the Madisound site or the Revelator 66 as found on Troel Graveson’s site?
Or thinking of getting a single matching tweeter and trying a DIY centre channel with the two 4531s. Any suggestions? Thanks.
