I don't have mutch experience with diy so I would like to know if this can be used for a 12v dc trigger Solid State Relay (SSR Solid State)ASR01-210DA - China Relay, Solid State Relay, Power Relay in Relay & Contactor 😕
Hi,
When you mean trigger do you mean use a 12 volts to enable the relay or you want to use the output of the relay to enable something else? Can you be more specific on what it is your application?

Ive used solid state relays in some high-efficiency-required environments. Tossed them for they drop about 1-2 volts, which results in very poor efficiency, especially at lower voltages like 12v.
Go with a proper relay instead of a solid-state relay. The only two benefits from SSRs are no moving parts and the ability to be directly driven by a microcontroller.
