12inch full range offerings?

Other than Audio Nirvana is there any 12in full range drivers that are worth checking out?
I like my AVs but I want to try something else and was hoping I could find something that would work in my enclosures. ( big Bass reflex cabinets).

You could try the Lii Audio

One Pair | 12 Inch Full Range Speaker Driver | F-12 - Lii Audio, unique speaker, amplfier, quality and cost-saving parts for HiFi DIY

I recently found a used pair of the Crystal 10 at a nice price. I have to say, they are better than anything else I have tried out of the box (Lowther, Fostex, Tang Band)

I can’t speak from personal experience on the bigger drivers, but there is quite a few positive posts about the F15 by Lii.

The person I got the Crystals from bought a pair of the F15 and said they were remarkable...even decided to give up the Crystals for them.

Fane Sovereighn 12-250TC is the only one i like actually. It can work in a big 300L reflex on low power. It's advertised as a pro audio driver, but it's specs make it also very usefull for home use.

Lii is notorious for not be on spec, but they have a following, mainly for OB use. I don't like them, as they sound very ragged and have little bass.

GM,
What would you do with that 12" coax? I guess it isn't really your tendency, but what would you think about 80L sealed with a bit of bass boost? Thanks!

I'm a big ol' MLTL fan.........

You tell me, looks good for XOing to an 80 Hz sub system, but does it meet the needs of your app with the understanding that its 3 mm Xmax doesn't give much EQ boost?:

Qts' = 0.497

a = 106.4/80 = 1.33

Fc = [1.33 + 1]^0.5 * 51.2 = 78.15 Hz

Qtc = [1.33 + 1]^0.5 * 0.497 = 0.759

The Electro Voice 12TRXB triaxial works well in an open baffle, I have a pair in the Wharfedale (aka JE Labs) open baffles and they sound great. If you don't want the horn tweeter you could do the EV SP12B with a separate tweeter. The ones that I have are the white frame ones and are 16 ohm (they are commonly available at eight ohms).
