True.....
I had a dod spectrum analyzer, I had to hunt to find stuff that lit up those bottom leds.
Madonna ray of light produced by William orbit, that had some low synth stuff.
Movies ?
Sure.
Music ?
Flat to 40hz should cover Mostly everything.

14 Hz is doable, but it costs some space. I made a 4m long folded TL with a 10" driver reaching 14 Hz, quiet flat.
For sure there are 12" drivers able to do that, even with a vented box. Search for a driver with low Fs en big xmax and start playing with WinISD.

can you post TL drawings and measured fr response? or link to thread where did you post it

After all that was said, you don't mention the volume for each sub. And there's a BIG difference between a home sub (low sensitivity) and a PA sub (high sensitivity), so I understand you need a complete system with amplification for any use at home.Hey I would like to have one subwoofers on either side of the speaker and the bass should go down to 14 Hz.
I haven't found a suitable membrane for it on the internet. Can you help me ?
interesting, it looks good in the specs. Thanks for posting.Of course. Design and built in this thread:

These could be a good candidate perhaps with some coaxing. I think they're newer as I never seen them till just the other day, but then again I haven't looked in a long time.

I do not see distortion measurement there, have you done any?
14 Hz is doable........even with a vented box.
Indeed! Back when Avatar/Adire offered the basslist the new 20 Hz Fs Shiva 12", 15" PR, I bought two sets and in a vertically oriented, dual opposed 8 ft^3 cab to mimic a bit smaller version of my dual 15"/18", 10 ft^3 ServoDrive Contrabass, both tuned to ~14 Hz, it fared quite well until the latter's much greater power handling made itself the clear winner, but more than sufficient for music and all of the lowest movie LFE at highest gain special effects [at the time], hence my original suggestions.
