I am new to this thread and PS forum, can you guys point me in the right direction? Can I parallel laptop smps bricks to get more current? I have lots of 19v 4.6 amp units lying around and they are cheap if I need more. What are the issues? Sorry if this is off topic but it seemed to be a good fit considering the expertise in this thread. Similarly, could two bricks be used as split rail sources to get +/- 19v? I am looking for a cheap ps for the Sure 4x100 w amp board.
