• WARNING: Tube/Valve amplifiers use potentially LETHAL HIGH VOLTAGES.
Building, troubleshooting and testing of these amplifiers should only be
performed by someone who is thoroughly familiar with
the safety precautions around high voltages.

10kw of tube power can be yours for $25,000.00

About 15 years ago I saw a couple of these type units get parted out at a scrap yard in Connecticut. Copper containing stuff was $2 a Lb,, other stuff $1.50 a Lb. The oil caps went to toxic waste disposal. I didn't see anything useful/practical in the lot. You'd have to pay money to get rid of this type heavy stuff now.

I worked with a 30KW UDCO circlotron until we replaced the vibe table, including a IGBT class-D, about 50KW.

The circlotron used a two arrays of stud mount NPNs in water pipes. Note these amps have to handle ~1Hz.
Hydraulic tables have a very limited frequency range, so they are only used for shipping test and similar. Most shake tables are electrodynamic.
