Hey all, i've been using 100 inch tv for some time now... and quite frankly IT SUX! 🙁 and i want to know if anyone had any good experiences with one, if so can u give me some pointers on how to improve mine.
Im also looking for an LCd projecor, i want to know is anyone knows anything about the projector from LeeValley.com heres a link directly to the projector http://www.leevalley.com/gifts/page.asp?page=44193&category=4,104,45473&abspage=1&ccurrency=2&SID= its 100 watts and estimated to give an image of 4x4 (what ever THAT means..lol)
what EVER imformation you can give me will be Greatly appreciated. OH! whats the "C" word that we're not allowed to say? does it ryhme with CAP or Punt? thanx again

I don't know about LCD's but my father has a professional one of these sort of units, I asked him to try it on a CRT and he reports it's junk for that purpose. Shame too, he said if it worked I could have it...I'd love to have the optics from it...they are GORGEOUS!!!

It would suck on a crt becuse the glass screen reflects the light every which way. On an LCD you would probably have better luck, but im sure it does not compare to making your own projector with a little tender love and care... lol

you dont think it would work? i got my info on the artograph from this site http://www.audiovisualizers.com/madlab/lcd_proj.htm its near the bottom of the site...it looks promising..and even better...CHEAP lol.

Well I highly doubt he has ever tried using one of those. It's just a thought. If you really think it will work, try it... You'll be a poineer here at DIY.
hmmm...that seems like a good idea..😎 if u want to be a pioneer as well let me know 😉 lol, one more qestion, what is the average lamp life and isnt it costly to keep replacing lamps it will eventually cost the same as a retail projector if not more.

He doesn't use it anymore, he's done a few murals for schools my sister has taught at with it. I have no idea what it would be worth...I dont think they build them like it anymore.
