10 turn pot recomendation

Hi All,

I have a LM 317 based power supply (graciously given to me by Panicos K of this form) running my Maxon motor with 1 turn pot. This pot is not sensitive and makes it impossible to dial exactly 33.3 rpm.

I would like to change to a 10 turn pot, any recommendations to brand and type please.

Bourns is generally a good choice. I use the 3590S-2-103 pot in my tube amplifier for bias setting. It is 10 kohm +/- 5%.

as an alternative you could use a pot 10 times smaller value in series with the original, then you would have fine and coarse control
