best i can tell there is only one schematic in this thread and it has ad9220 which you just said you moved away from...
I have moved on to AD876JR (20Mega samples) but then a ATSAME70N19 processor that runs at 300MHz.
Which one are you interested in ?

"i'm just looking", but the pic32mx one looked more interesting, just a bunch of soic chips, with smd resistors and caps could be pretty compact.
I dont really have facilities for SMD.
I can manage the SOIC devices OK by hand.
I can throw one together in about half an hour.

if i were to build this i would be redoing the boards with smd components. unless it's power dissipation it just doesn't make sense to me to use gigantic TH passives (which not only make the boards more expensive but are more expensive themselves, like 10 times more expensive).
AD876JR also looks to be on the obsoleting block, down to 1 production package...

I can still get AD876JR from China.
The atsame processor version uses an AD9283 which I can get ok.
