Hello Everybody,
Here is a potentially dumb question:
Is it possible to use both windings on a 1:1 Interstage Transformer as a pair of plate chokes for an Long Tail Phase-splitter?
i.e.--I was thinking of connecting the primary to one plate of the LPT and the secondary to the other plate of the LPT. My thinking was that, since the circuit is differential, they would not draw current at the same time. But is there a potential problem I am missing?
Regards,
John

Check the resistance of the windings. If they are the same the IT will look like an OPT without a secondary.
Thats a go. But need to sure one of the windings is not in anti phase with the other, Resulting in no output.
Reverse the leads of one of the wdgs but not both.
