Alex:

Well, you are going to have to measure the Thiele-small parameters yourself, I don't know what to tell you.

It would be a good idea to break in the woofer by running a 20 Hz tone through it for 24 hours. Cone motion should be visible while doing this.

Freeware tone generators are available for testing.
www.satsignal.net go to Audio Tools

There are other freeware tone generators on the net if this doesn't suit you.

I must admit that I am not optimistic about this woofer, even with the little info you have given so far. Why? Because the manufacturer lists it's range as 40 Hz to 3,000 Hz.

Most manufacturers either list the Frequency of Resonance as the lower limit for the woofer, or even go below that. It usually is a pretty optimistic number. If the manufacturer is only claiming that the woofer is good down to 40 Hz, and a good subwoofer should go down under 30 Hz if not lower-well, it doesn't look good.

Do you have any alternatives?

I have no idea if this helps you find out about your Eurotec:

Hello ??? it seems that nobody wants to help me ... please try to help me in this project ... with anything ... :att'n:

Er...since a nice guy like kelticwizard wrote you that long, detailed post about what to do, could you maybe be very explicit about what you need in relation to that?
