0.75" Tweeter - Baffled (pun intended)?

I think I have finally settled on an outline design that seems to suit my requirements and sims well with a 0.75" dome tweeter.

So the question is - It models well with an Hiquphon OW2 (and OW1) but is there a noticeable difference between this and the Scanspeak and Linn equivalents? Supplementary question, is there any difference between the various scanspeak models?

So not sure what the differences are between the following -

OW1 vs OW2 - easy this one - slight increase in sensitivity in the OW2 - match Pairs £300.

D2008/8511(Non-ferro), D2008/8512 (ferro), D2010/8511 (Non-Ferro), D2010/8513 (ferro) - All pretty similar, D2010/8513 seems to be the smoothest with latest breakup (marginally) - £65-75 each

Linn D20-LP1-1 (OW1?) and D20-LP1-2 (OW2?) - can get these second hand around £100 per pair

So what's the difference as many retailers sell them as interchangeable items for Linn/Naim/Proac/Spendor speakers and I can get most to sim OK with my design - are the OW1/2 worth twice the Scanspeak.

I know sound/worth etc. are subjective but would like to hear views on these tweeters.

Dragging this thread up again - Done a bit of modelling with the tweeters above and can get a good response and phase with the OW1 which is my current default, but the SB21SDC is a pretty good substitute (almost a straight swap other than sensitivity) but is 1/5th the price in the UK/EU.

Any one got subjective listening views on the SB21SDC (or SB21RDC) and ideally in comparison to the OW1/2.

Thanks in advance.

@Rabbitz, many thanks for the comment, much appreciated.Do you have any other suggestions for a 0.75" (ish) tweeter that would be better than the SB21SDC/RDC ? I know some people rate the Seas 22TFF, have you used this ?

Thanks for that, looks interesting, will plug it into the sim later. Unfortunately no UK distributor but can order from EU I guess, may be under the 115euro tax limit (I think). Will look to see what the difference to the 05 version is.

@peterbrorsson, any comments on how this sounds?

Thanks @lojzek, will add that to the list. One question, in the info they are not the prettiest and quality does not look the best, what are they like in real life? The use of Philips screws rather than Allen or torx just looks a bit cheap to me.

I don't really see where the hype comes from for the OW1/OW2 tweeters. They don't appear to have anything wrong about them but nothing special either.

The SEAS 22TAF/TFF would be my choice for standard 3/4" domes. These will do a 2.5kHz 4th order acoustic.

The DX20BF00-04 is a great, and very inexpensive, alternative if you don't need to cross low. 3.5kHz 4th order acoustic would be getting the most out of it although you could push it to 3khz if you didn't listen particularly loud.

I did a bunch of speakers with the SB Acoustics SB19, then switched to the Tymphany NE19VTS. The latter performs a little better because it has a shorting ring and a larger back chamber that widens it's bandwidth. Both are good, the Tymphany is a little bit better.

The only other small tweeters I've used are the SB19ST which is OK and the NE19VTS-04 which I preferred. It has a lowish SPL and the Fs is fine and works very well in the designed speakers. I now use it in a centre speaker to get tight driver spacing.

Both were crossed over around 4kHz.
