There is always a compromise and ATC speakers are not designed for home use

Depends on your room and taste. These need a minimum distance of 2m from the speakers for the sound to open up. I see no reason why they wouldn't work at home.

But they indeed are huge beasts and take a lot of space.

I just checked and a pallet shipment would cost around 400€ via Postnord to central Europe. I have the boxes of the ATC 100's I just got, and these would fit there perfectly. I am willing to scale down the price considerably if needed. Something like 2500€ shipped?
