I am constructing a truncated line array with a single tweeter.
The 2 configurations that I am considering are
1. D'Appolito style
2. Uniform array with the tweeter offset
I am leaning toward 2. since the tweeter voice coil will be nearer to the listener in configuration 1.

Yes, it's difficult to pick a winner. I probably wouldn't use physical delay as a reason to override a spatial requirement.
First bring-up. These sound amazing with good source material.
The drivers are Audax HD13B25RSC bextrene from the 1980s/1990s. I consider these as bespoke vintage. I had a designer friend measure one with his LMS system outside. Flat from 100 Hz to 3 kHz.
The tweeter is crossed at 3 kHz.
I have a working Apogee tweeter. I wish I had a second Apogee tweeter.
I like these more than I like the Maggies.
