Quick question for anyone who has used the SB Acoustics ceramic woofers

I am considering using the 6" SB Acoustics ceramic woofer in the system thats going in the kitchen. The wife is questioning the ability to clean this cone. Valid considering we sautee food in there on a consistent basis.

What does it feel like? Is it smooth and easy to clean? Or is it sort of porous and the white might end up looking horrendous in a handful of years?

"SB Ceramic cones consist of an aluminum/ceramic dual layer cone"

Do you see any similarity?
Technically speaking this is not a ceramic cone.
It's a oxidized aluminium cone.
Which should not be a surprise when you look at those two pictures side by side.
But they do look pretty with the surface treatment.

Also notice that the cac 35-8 has the magnitude with 4ohm impedance in both versions on the site.

I’m not sure how you would be able to clean the cone effectively and for that matter the rubber surround. Would these be mounted in the cieling? Location of the speaker away from grease aerosol’s to minimize contamination would seem to be key. The speaker shouldn’t be located above a grill imo. A grill cloth/cover would provide some protection I suppose. Maybe look at outdoor speakers to see how they are constructed?
A google search is in order if you haven’t already.
A bit of a conundrum, I’m curious what you may come up with.
