When they are old Audax, the foam underneath the dome will have deteriorated and dirt will be in the magnet where the coil will be hindered to work properly, open it up and clean it, remove the foam and put new damping behind the dome, i've done that, now they work fine again...
Seems also as Audax TW037YO is the same.Audax HD 13D 37-8 Ohm
Used in Infinity Quantum, Spendor, Rogers and BBC monitors.
But maby not good for today´s criteria?
They are ok for fooling around. I see not much use for these. Don’t get near to 20k…
