There have been a lot of nighttime large drone sightings recently in the NY and NJ areas. No one seems to know what these are, or if they do know they are not saying what it is.
One theory is that they are foreign based and coming from a ship just offshore.
The fact that no one in government can provide any sort of answer is particularly disturbing.

(The end of the world as we knew it is here 😂 ).
Theory conspiricies will only worry or upset the common man, not a good idea.
Probably just owners with their new toys or Donald checking up on you all.

Anyone know what subs they are running? 😀There have been a lot of nighttime large drone sightings recently in the NY and NJ areas
It's simply the next step in cats' master plan of ruling the world.
They have now mastered how to fly drones and are actively selecting drop-zones for strategic mass deployments.

Mysterious? Fox News will probably insist the drones stop wearing burqas.
This however is only a suspicion - not proven (yet). I wonder what the point is, even military bases have annual "open house" events, so what kind of information could be gained that is not publically available anyway?of Russian origin
Drone footage in NJ 🤣🤣🤣.
if i wanted to spy on a country discreetly, i wouldn't put lights all over my drones...

Probally like we had in europe, local people working for foreighn countries (Russia & China) making footage with drones of strategic places. It was in Germany, but also arround where i live, as a few dozen km south of my house there is an important militairy base of the NATO.
Or it can be that one of your secret services is doing things they don't want to tell to the general public. It happened before during the cold war, and as we are in a similar situation now, it could be that it happens again.

That was different, those were a combination of climatologic caused optical illusions, and opportunists who used tricked pictures and data to get attention.
The so called radar data was made up, just like the pictures. The things that people saw was a rare wheater phenomenon that transforms stars and other objects in the sky to brighter lights due to a fog during the night that worked as a lens. We sometimes still see it, but now we know...
But there were never clean images or video of those "vague Belge" ufo"s, while now we hav a lot of visual data to see. And again a lot of those UFO's can be explained.

Here is part of a statement by Rep. Jeff Van Drew, R-N.J.
..."I have credible individuals who have high security ratings, and they came to me and again, these are dependable, credible individuals that have security clearance that felt that they wanted to clear the air. They were, in essence, whistleblowers, and they believe there's a real possibility it could be Iran, that there could be a ship not right on the coast of New Jersey. These drones, as cited by the Coast Guard, are coming in and out of the ocean. They're going to the ocean. They're not pontoons. They're not landing on the water. They're landing on something. We're not being told the truth. They are dealing with the American public like we're stupid."
So, either he is lying, the U.S. Coast Guard in inept, or these are real drones coming in and out of the ocean.

While the Pentagon maintains that the drones are not foreign, the FBI has admitted it is "concerned" about how little the agency knows about them.
Asked if Americans are "at risk," Robert Wheeler, FBI assistant director of the Critical Incident Response Group, told Congress: "There is nothing that is known that would lead me to say that, but we just don't know. And that's the concerning part."
In recent weeks, the drones have flown near sensitive sites, like a military research facility.
Photos taken in the Bay Shore section of Toms River of what appear to be large drones hovering in the area at high altitudes in New Jersey on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024. The drones seemed to be well above the 400 feet height FAA regulations allow.
And if the drones aren’t foreign in origin, onlookers are left wondering why it’s taking U.S. agencies so long to figure out who is behind them.
"What I can say is a lot of our detection systems, means of tracking and understanding, are so vastly undersized and radically out of date," Doug Birkey, executive director of the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies, told Fox News Digital.
"So it would not surprise me that we could still be out of sync with this and not understand at the level we should," he added. "After the Cold War, the notion of air defense really took a back burner."
And Birkey remains unconvinced that the drones are not foreign in origin.
"I don't think we can speak declaratively about the source, but obviously they seem of a certain sophistication, size and set of behaviors that would suggest high potential of being from an adversary source," he said.

So how come no one's taken a pot-shot at one? That might get you an answer more quickly -
Almost every time I take the dog for a walk, I see them (Olympia WA) here in the night sky. I wonder what's the attraction, flying at night? Sport? Night Vision video recording? Really bored with looking at stuff on-line and might as well make use of the $2500 I spent on the thing? The ones I see all have the typical "drone" lights, like a flying modern day McIntosh amplifier.
I dont get the attraction of flying something up into the darkness, perhaps tracking it visually from the lights for 1/2 hour, then bringing it back home. I must be missing something. I dont recall people flying RC model airplanes - at night - being a thing.
