DuPont flashing tape for driver to baffle?

Is there any reason not to use dupont flashing tape as a gasket between the driver and the baffle. I have some left over.

Is the butyl side exposed? If so it may be very hard and messy to remove later.

thank you the paper side would be out not sure how long the paper will last though. I will pick up the weather stripping. I may want to eventually sell the drivers so I do not want to mess them up. I did want the driver to baffle to be air tight.

The wider tapes tend to wrinkle a bit too much at smaller diameters, so I tended to use 1/4” or 1/2” types.

thank you i ended up using the thin packing material that items ship with it worked well. the speakers are done and back in the music room. thank you all again.
