WTB Shinkoh tantalum in 750R-1k range

Wanted to buy
Thank you for pointing this out, that's a pretty good deal right there. It's just that these are around 1,000 times the resistance I need. The topic reads 750R-1K range, which, I know, is asking for some very rare stuff.

The reason for posting here is that hopefully there are some members here who have hung on to some of these and can spare two resistors.

Are you still looking for those Shinkos?

I might be able to help you get them here and ship them to you (only the 750R 1/2W seems to be available).

My estimate for 2 resistors, including shipping, is around $22.

Just PM me if you're interested!

Thank you for this suggestion LongRanger. Unfortunately this board takes only THT resistors in these positions but these SMDs could be interesting for other projects. Can you post links to some of these reports if on this forum? I have looked at Welwyn/TT tants but found available values to be patchy.

1206 is quite big. They probably fit on the THT layout.
Availability is unfortunately limited but one can get creative with paralleling resistors(this in itself could also increase sound quality since many people prefer higher wattage resistors).
I guess the more we buy these resistors the more they will get stocked.

They are both about cheaper magnetic versions.

Dont know which version andrea was using: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/...ed-master-clock-group-buy.291925/post-7294021

Also grid leak seems to be the best place for tantalums. As a grid stopper some find them too coloring.
