do the portsinteract strangleyif not seperated? I dont really see anything in the bandwidth using horn responce?
You might stagger the length of the ports if concerned about port length resonance. You might stagger the location of the ports if concerned about box modes.
Yeah, offsetting the driver @ 60 cm in the 2400 cm2 section followed by the 120cm @ 600cm2 makes an incredibly huge bandwidth(as opposed to placing the driver at the closed end of the 2400cm2 section). Until you delay/tune the other side of the drivers output and all of that gets cancelled out.
so intersting to explore these things in horn response

(without the other sides chamberf/vent)
(set ‘path‘ ti near zero to see the full affect )

same thing,its just like surfing.
i dunno what’s more intersting? The fact that you don’t excite the ‘3x 1/4 wavelength’ resonance, or you don’t have the big cancellation notch centered on 4x ?

That's exactly what I came up with when using CH1.View attachment 1318641

You switched on me tho'. You went from a BP6P to a BR.
If
Con = 140.00
Con = 280.00
total = 420.00,
Then how does the
Acoustic Path Length = 471.5?
I'm on my phone.
What does the MEH function do differently from the CH function when modeling a H pattern wave cannon enclosure?

Ah, used ME1 for the 1st time!
How do I get the other screens to display besides View Schematic?
Ah, switch over to Nd!
Interesting, the Nd model handles more power and is more efficient than the CH model.

i think youll like this one
Uh, what did I do wrong because I don't like the response.
- Home
- Loudspeakers
- Subwoofers
- parallel 6BP ports?
