Hello, good evening friends, I am here, again with another topic. Now with an AQ Audio brand amplifier model AQ2200, the problem here is that the source fets flew and as a starting repair the fets (irfp064n) and impulse transistors were replaced, as well as gate resistors, in the end the signals were checked and everything is perfect, 1 Irfp064n is placed for each bank and everything works perfectly.... but however, when I proceed to place all the missing fets in the source, the current consumption increases drastically, I have already done tests for damaged fets, all They are from the same batch and are original, I cannot find the reason for the high consumption and heating of the irfp064n, I thank you and thank you very much for your support, tomorrow I will upload photos of the board.
Did you load test each FET location before installing the FETs? TT9, item #23 if you have the tutorial.
I only have it on CD, I had 2 additional copies on 2 computers, but my beautiful wife deleted them and I only kept the CD, I can only see some files due to the degradation they suffer with handling, I will check if I can see the section that you suggest
Did the single FET in a bank heat up?
Do all of the FETs (when all are installed) heat up equally?

I have not paid enough attention and deduced which bank is the one that heats first since if the temperature increases in at least 3 banks
Initially I felt that the Q11 and Q13 fets heated up just a little faster and after about 3 seconds they all heated up equally. I have limited the source to 2.5 amps and with a bulb in series in B+ it turns on, I'm going to do the test with the capacitor. In the output stage I manage to have audio without problemsDid the single FET in a bank heat up?

Are you sure that that capacitor is 0.047uf?
Post a photo of the waveform on the other side of the gate resistor.
Value of R61 and R61A?

Do you think it affects, the transistors that drive the power supply fets are different... 2sa1070 and 2sc3207 in the diagram are 2sc3228 and 2sa1275 and if so, is there a replacement for the originals?

I don't know but that's what you should have.
If you have that for all FET locations, the drive would appear to be OK.
