Nothing ever really wrong with Cayin, I've had a few at the workshop, I've also owned some and it's more like the top of the basket in the range of Chinese devices.
I also think it's hard to do wrong with a PP of el84 or 6P1.
On the other hand, it is sure that it has nothing to do with the Reisong which is an SE.
Without a diagram it's not easy but there are chances that the Cayin is more punchy than the Reisong but can be less fine but it's not even sure because there are also chances that the iron of the Cayin is of better quality than the Reisong.
In short, you are not much more advanced with that. 😆
