Looking for a McIntosh 4100 FM left channel integrated chip - IC702

I have a McIntosh 4100 receiver that works perfectly except for one thing. When in tuner mode, in stereo, the left channel doesn't work. I consulted with a national McIntosh expert and he suggested the IC chip for the left channel was bad. The chip number is IC702 with McIntosh part number 133-037. Does anyone out there have or know where I could acquire this part, to fix the minor FM problem? I'm not a technician, but if I could get the IC, I'd bring it to someone.

See if this helps.. Best way in these cases is to buy the part from them.

Thank you BenY. I'll keep that in mind when I get a repairperson to look at the receiver. In the past I've had every reputable shop in Portland (OR) look at the problem and none of them could solve it. I spoke with Terry DeWick on the phone and he was the one who suggested it might be an IC chip. He didn't know which one. I looked at the parts diagram and guessed at it. I am NOT into audio repair.

To RJM1, I did look at post 7 from your first message and I didn't understand how it applied to my problem. I also looked at your second suggestion and I didn't understand that discussion either.

To stocktrader200, I don't do repair work so shorting outputs is not something I'd even try.

Thank you all for trying to help.
