Component id on power supply

Evening guys, I’m trying to restore a power supply on a Technics cassette deck and need help identifying the component shown with a blue arrow on the drawing. I assume it’s a resistor by the drawing but it’s in a transistor type casing marked: N 10 W

Any help greatly appreciated

Don't think a resistor. The schematic shows an optional resistor for EK,XL R603 that goes from a 1w to a 2w. Your blue arrow is marked as ICP601 as well which makes me think it is a semi at least. Maybe a NTC to slow start the circuit?

Thanks, was only thinking about those old Xmas tree bulbs the other day! I’ve sourced the part, £5.99 inc postage 😳 got that 200 ma fuse in place at the moment original rating is 400 ma. Xmas tree bulb would be mega handy though and a great idea

It´s called an IC-protector, but it is a fuse. Name came from them usually sitting in serial with supply for sensitive devices.
These come in all different sizes.
The N10 is a 400mA fuse.
N10-fuse
EDIT: Sorry... see now, that I was a bit late to the party 😆
