Protection cap for dome midrange?

I've seen plenty of articles/ discussions on protection caps for tweeters in active systems, but haven't found anything on dome mids. I'm looking at the morel CAM558's which I'd assume need some sort of protection since the fs is still pretty high (listed at 380 Hz), but if I can avoid using a cap that big that would be ideal. FWIW the plate amps are hypex 253s and I'm hoping to cross them around 600-700 Hz

I'd add that the reason I'd choose the smallest possible is because it's more effective at the task, and it comes in a more convenient package. Some like to use the rule of thumb that suggests making it larger so it's effect kicks in a couple of octaves below the cross. This is unnecessary if you plan to measure it and there will be no adverse affects.

I am using the Morel EM1308, very similar to the CAM558 (round faceplate version of the MDM55 iirc) and have a 39uF protection cap on it, if that helps. I am using one as I have an active crossover so the power amp is directly connected to the driver. This give me a 1st order roll off at approx 500hz. Obviously this is in place when taking measurements so any active components include this roll off i.e. to get a LR2 roll off I just add another 1st order high pass filter.

For completeness I am using it with a Morel ET448 tweeter and have a 12uF protection capacitor on that. This equates to around 2200hz 1st order roll off.

I am crossing the EM1308 to a SB WO24P-4 at around 700hz and the ET448 at around 3500hz. I am still optimising but seems to be working fairly well and the Morel mid sounds very natural, great for acoustic instruments and human voice especially female.

I chose ClarityCap PX as a good compromise on price.
