I agree, the amp would be inexpensive considering you already have the most expensive part. With the heatsinks being as large as they are, you could actually simply let them sit on the table. Especially since you would be working with a laptop power supply and not mains.

Another option is the Amp Camp Amp which is specifically designed for first-time builders. It looks like you even have two holes drilled into each heatsink. DIyaudio store keeps the parts in stock.

Wow ! Now I see what you mean and yes very similar heat sinks if a little shorter, surely the heat sinks would be overkill though? Or are they class A amps ?
Yep, pure class A. Sounds amazing.

The picture you see in the PDF file is for the regular MoFo which dissipate 32W (19Vdc@1.7A bias) at idle but there’s also the Big MoFo version which dissipate 60W at idle (24Vdc@2.5A bias) Maybe your heatsink are also suited for the Big MoFo.
