I'm intrigued by the Blanda bowls. Attached is a pic of my ff85wk in mini-onkens on top of my bass cabs with Dayton RS225-8. Thinking about re-using them in Blanda bowls. My question is what size bowl, ported or not? Hoping planet10 will chime in but all suggestions are valued.

Spec-wise not all that well suited for a horn, though an 11" vented to Fb = Fs + some mids/HF EQ might work OK.
Faded line of course is the BR/horn output Vs the driver's IB + inductance BW, so above ~ 1 kHz the sloping line will be comb filtering with the flat line, so guessing 1st order around 65-6600 Hz to start dialing in.

Figures! Where I see bowls as horns, others see them as hats.Would just need to adjust vents and driver mounting (and refigure the volume).

if it's of any use these are the figures I used when researching for the 280mm Blanda shown on the other thread. The date on this file is 2010 so some of those drivers wont be relevent/available. These show the Vb(sealed box volume) for the drivers with a Butterworth alignment).
Small Bowls above
Large Bowls, this a blanda + a Gronsaker. I also have preliminary work on a large blanda+blanda.
