Recapping a ADCOM GTP500II. Capacitor C308 doesn't have a negative side marking. Maybe it doesn't matter for this one? Any help appreciated.
Googling the above phrase, you can get a service manual. In it, it lists C308 as some bizarre number, while all the other caps are normally described, like "10uf 35V". I took a quick look, but couldnt find C308 in the...extensive circuitry. That's your job; find it and show us the part of the schematic therein. Then you'll get a good answer/ADCOM GTP500II. Maybe it is a non-polar electrolytic. (Also called bi-polar by Nichicon and others)Recapping a ADCOM GTP500II. Capacitor C308 doesn't have a negative side marking. Maybe it doesn't matter for this one? Any help appreciated.
The schematic is here. https://manualmachine.com/adcom/gtp500ii/3246909-service-manual/
I just did find it and like someone posted, it was impossible to read! I have 63 year old eyes. Ill check this newer one I just found (above). I attached a clip of the description. I think it is a non-polarized one as someone mentioned but I rarely do this and thought you experts might help an old guy out.

GTP its a preampIs it GDP or GTP, since you have both listed here.
J116 which was my guess for the neg sideI see TWO of the C301, but no C308, on the schematic.
What part/pin # is C308 connected to?
The downloads are impossible to read. I dont see a marking for the neg side on the PCB like all the others,
Must not just be a coincidence.View attachment 1071441

I did that way before I came here...I cant read it but since many of you have more experience that I I thought maybe you have a way to tell. Since its connected to a Jumper, my GUESS is that's the neg side, But as I said I rarely do this type of work.
Mine are 65. I tried to be the hero...is this it?I have 63 year old eyes.
Lol…good. Yes thanks. Which site did u download from? Mine aren’t that clear. Anyway, that’s simple, to translate so u can do a find? No worries if not.
