Good day bros, another amp that I have been working for some time an ADS 2000.1 mon amp, Initial problem was going to protect mode. I managed to repair by replacing gate resistors , FETs and drive chip on the power supply section. Now it powers up on blue light and with good rail voltages and no longer goes to protect mode. But the main issue was, blowing the output FETs at high side only whenever I replace a new one. Without FETS installed normally I don't see the gate drive signal on the high side but I get a good gate drive signal on the low side, with this I assumed that all output signals are fine but when I install new FETS the high side fets are getting shorted once I turn on the amp. Is it possible that the Drive chip IR2184S is not giving the correct high side gate signal even if it has a good low side gate drive signal? Note that shorted highside FETS are on the other bank only. Other banks are fine.
I don't have anything on that specific amp but since there are a lot of clone-type amps, I may have something close. Post a good quality photo (no flare from the flash, in focus...) of the component side of the main board and the component side of any driver boards in the amp and I'll see if it looks familiar.
As follows From up to down:
1. KA7915 - UZ2 2. KA7815- UZ1
3. IR2184S - U10 -Half bridge driver (upper bank)
4. 072C - U9 - Dual OP amp.
5. IR2184S - U14 - Half bridge driver(lower bank)
6. PC817 - U13 - PhotoCoupler
7. TIP41C - Q3 - NPN Power transistor
1. KA7915 - UZ2 2. KA7815- UZ1
3. IR2184S - U10 -Half bridge driver (upper bank)
4. 072C - U9 - Dual OP amp.
5. IR2184S - U14 - Half bridge driver(lower bank)
6. PC817 - U13 - PhotoCoupler
7. TIP41C - Q3 - NPN Power transistor
Are you saying that the 2184 driver ICs only drive either high or low side, not both?
I would expect to see both high and low side FETs on each 2184.
For the 2184 with no high side drive, what's the DC voltage measured directly across the Vb and Vs terminals of the IC?

Sorry, Perry I was wrong. Each 2184 ICs drive the High and low side ( 2 high FETS and 2 low FETS) . The upper portion of the board is where the only High side FETs which keeps on getting shorted and the LO side FETs works normally. The lower portion of the board which has the other 2184 drive IC driving the the 2 High and 2 Lo FETs are working normally also.
Look at the pin names on the IC below. Look up the datasheet for the 2184 and find the pins with the same names. Measure the resistance in the 6 steps shown on each IC you have and compare the readings of one IC to the other IC. If the readings are significantly different, post what you find different.

Sorry bro, I can not get the correct reading because it keeps on flactuating so I removed the chips out of the board , these are the resistance reading as followed:
Upper 2184S Driver chip:
Lo / Vcc = 0.717M
Lo / Com = 4.3M
Lo / Vcc = 3.8M
Vb / Vs = 1.86M
Ho / Vb = open (no reading)
Ho / Vs = open( no reading)
Lower 2184S driver chip:
Lo / Vcc = 9.5M
Lo / Com = open (no reading)
Lo / Vcc = open ( no reading)
Vb / Vs = 1.8M
Ho / Vb = 3.53M
Ho / Vs = 6.3M
Upper 2184S Driver chip:

Do you have any new 2184s. The low-side of the upper 2184 looks like it could be leaky.
If not, I'd reinstall the ICs. Remove the outputs (all) and drive a signal into the amp to check the drive signals at the FET gate pads.

I am planning to order. All The outputs are already out. Ok I will reinstall the IC and check it with a signal. i will update you. Thanks bro.
