🟢 loudspeakers SB Acoustics 4 way Under development.

Olá a todos do fórum!

I would advice against a 4-way as your first project. First you should build an understanding of what a 4-way can do that a 3-way or even 2-way can't. I can't see any reasons why one would use 3 different sized but otherwise similar midwoofers in a 4-way. It is a very big ask to have someone to all this design work for you.

It's not 3 midwoofers, it's 2 woofers (WO24P / *MW19P), one midrange (MR16P).
I don't expect a professional designer to hand me a chewed up design for me to just reproduce.
I look forward to enthusiasts who have experience and shed some light on the best choice of riders.
This is an environment to discuss ideas that mature this project. Eventually I'll pay someone to develop the crossover.
I've seen a 3 way project with 2x Satori WO24P in sealed cabinet but I don't know if the things he says are true.

We know this, but first we need to find some common ground. For all we know you have chosen these drivers only because you like the way they look together.

If not then why don't you tell us why a crossover from one driver to another is a good thing. It might help us understand your point of view and work on the idea.

UMAllenB, thanks for being here!
I didn't understand your question.
I don't speak English, I use tools to translate the language, often if it's not a formal text, the "dumb" google tool for not being very smart doesn't give me a complete text.

In fact, what I intend is to put the Satori WO24P to take on the difficult task of pushing heavy bass like those below 200Hz, from 200Hz above another Woofer will do the work until it crosses the Midrange.
I would like this box to go down to 25Hz, going so low can compromise the good performance of the other frequencies. I believe a sealed woofer above 200Hz would bring more pleasant bass.

Thank you. You are concerned about a driver being troubled when it plays bass and midrange at the same time. Interesting.

Are you concerned that a crossover will create troubles also?
I do not know the problems of a crossover, in due course I will need professional help, I will have to pay for it.
-----------
Another thought of mine would be to put the SB Acoustics SB34NRX75 to 20Hz to 200Hz, and the Satori WO24P above 200Hz until it crosses the middle.
🟡 Or 2 Satori WO24P one for each stage, one ventilated the other sealed

Just in case you aren't aware, SB has a open source plans for MR16P + 2xMW19P?

It looks like a good project, but I would like it to go down a little more than 32 Hz according to the website (Port Tuning Frequency: (32 Hz)
Another problem is that I don't like the vented bass very much, I read that the sealed mid-bass would be nicer.

Another problem is that I don't really like the vented bass, I read that the sealed mids would be nicer.
Whilst I am not a master but I do own this and can tell this design is indeed by a master. Yes it is a touch bass light compared to other reference speakers for my taste but my classical loving friends all thought its perfect.

I'd suggest you to build this design and add separate WO24P (Or SB34NRXL) bass towers to complement it to quickly get superb performance quickly.

If you dislike, feel free to modify the design but at least you heard a reference using the same drivers by a master 🙂

You got me thinking about it. I will mature this idea. The advantage would be that you wouldn't have to pay for a crossover project.
Maybe I have to make a fasa track or pass band at 200Hz to cross with the subwoofer
