6c4p replacement for china 6Z4

on an Italian forum (old thread 2009) I read that russian 6C4P is compatible with Cinese 6Z4 (same pionout)An Russian sellers,explained that in the datashet of the Chinese valve there was simply an error, wanted, according to him by the Chinese themselves ???

Well, if you have both it's easy to compare pinout on such a simple valve as a rectifier.

sorry I have not 6Z4 or 6CP4,I was looking some informations about a replacement for 6Z4,because I would like to buy a chinese kit preamplifier 6N3+6Z4 and seem that chinese rectifier is very poor quality

I've used 6Z4 Shuguang and the 6C4P in the same socket. I don't think I rewired anything.

I went back to Shuguang 6Z4 because the cost less (much less - 2PCS New Beijing Shuguang 6Z4 Tube Valve Vacuum Replace 6z4 6X4 6202 6U4N for Amplifier Preamp|Electrical Socket Accessories| - AliExpress) and last longer.

You could also use one of these: 6X4 Replace 6Z4 Tube Socket Adapter HIFI Amplifier Valve Converter | eBay and use a USA 6X4 tube.

You could also use a solid state replacement 🙂eek:😀) Solid-State Plug-in replacement for 6X4 rectifier tube for 18$

Or you could solder 10 cents worth of 1N4007 onto the socket and accomplish the same thing effectively.

Not an error, actually.
Plate connections are swapped but ...
both plates are identical anyhow, so it does not matter.
Both tubes will function in the same socket, no problem.
