I guess the preamp board is a lost cause in this amp thought I could solder to different points for the caps but the electrolytic destroyed the board
I'm thinking of the wrong amp. Does the 30HD have the same boards as the rest of the HD amps?

I’ve seen that many times. The boards are like bread boards. Search around I thought someone was reproducing them at some point. If not, pass on repairing hd and series 1 with this problem.
I went back and looked through some emails (after post #4) and he indicated that he was working on the ones for a 30HD.

So I jump the traces ? The solder pads for the caps have been eaten away from the electrolytic they will not hold solder
If the trace is solid (no printed resistors) between the cap pad and the header pins, solder one terminal there. The traces are solderable (sometimes) so try to gently scrape the green mask off and solder to the metal under it. A fiberglass scratch brush works well for scraping the mask. Lay the caps down and use a drop of E6000 or GOOP to hold them in place.
I have not done the 30HD (also used in the power 100HD) boards yet. There is so little demand. I have found that Perry is correct, depending on the damage you can solder and repair the boards sometimes. Somewhere I have the board drawn on paper, if one of the traces passes to a resistor and you need to bypass that resistor (the dark printed on resistors) with a wired resistor, let me know and I will give you the value.
