Hi all, sorry if I'm in the wrong part of the forums.. This is my first post and I'm not familiar with this site...
I'm having some weird issues with my mixer and what wondering if I could get some help diagnosing the problem. Everything works but I have to turn up the trim all the way up on channels 1-4 to get the green trim light to light up and also causes the red clip light to light up...
Channel 5-6 Instrument/Mic (Hi/z) I have to turn the trim all the way down and the trim light still comes on with the red clip light.
I haven't used my amp in months due to me having surgery but I know something is not right.
Any Ideas?

I think I figured out the problem.. I think it was the cable I was using to test things... Maybe my memory was a bit off, I thought I had the trim down lower than what it is set at now.. I'm getting a blinking to solid green lights trim light and no red clip light on all channels... mics are plugged into channel 1-3 and I have a guitar amp and keyboard plugged into 5-6
Does this look about right for anyone who has knowledge with Yorkville mixers?
(I hope I uploaded this picture properly)

have you seen the article What is Gain Structure? - diyAudio it may be useful in answering your questions.
looking at the picture and as i'm quite familiar with this mixer ( one of the local bands i help out is using this mixer) i would say input trim is still a little high and the channel "levels" are run a tad low but as gain structure is a chain we would need to examine where masters are set.
all of this is relative and we've not even considered loudspeaker efficiency and a multitude of other factors that come to bear in a PA situation.
