Does anyone have a picture of the area around the 494 ?

The reason I ask is becomes the leds do not work for the high power nor the high current .

The 1000s uses an SG3524. Are you sure that the x version uses a 494?

Sorry your correct it uses the 3524 . Have my amps confused since I’m working on 2 at the same time .

I don't understand the question. The op-amp U9 is powered by the ±15v supply. In one mode, t's output will be about +15v. In the other mode, the output voltage will be -15v.
What voltage do you have on pin 7 of that op-amp?

Switched up amp and same issue .
All the voltages are correct and have the same voltages on the new opamp

It's a comparator with no feedback so the output should swing to the rails. I can't explain why it's not.
Back to this amp again .
Even with U9 removes I get the same voltages as before

U9 is a TL072 and it’s not working correctly trying to figure out why it has no voltage on pin 7 . The amp is not switching from high current to high power that part of the amp is dead and does nothing at all .
The voltage on pin 7 is determined by the voltage on pins 5 and 6. It's a simple comparator circuit. If the IC is not defective, there is no reason that I could see that the output wasn't going high/low.
The 3524 can't do anything to influence the output on pin 7.
