Good afternoon.
I have a lot of PCB designs that can be used in the construction of vacuum tube related audio projects. However I want to try something new if permitted which is a dedicated group buy channel on the Telegram platform.
What is telegram?
Telegram is a instant messaging app of Russian origin. Its Ideally suited to managing large groups and has a convenient desktop application that i'm very happy with. I was first introduced to the platform during my time at Technical university in Eindhoven and i'm using it ever since.
The telegram invite link for the group is : Telegram: Join Group Chat
Shipping.
I ship exclusively through DHL and only to EU countries that are part of the free trade zone. International orders outside of this zone are possible but at a premium for filling in the customs paperwork. And only for orders above €50.
You can check the international parcel rates for DHL in this PDF. it is in Dutch but that shouldn't matter much.
https://www.dhlparcel.nl/sites/default/files/content/DOCS/2020_internationale_tarieven_consument.pdf
Payment conditions.
Either bank transfer or Paypal is accepted. For custom designs the cost of the design is payable up front. Rates are displayed in a sticky in the channel. For orders over €50 there is a 20% downpayment required.
Order date: My expected order date for this month is 30 June. Deadline for custom design requests is 27 June. The deadline for shipping is 7 July.
Pcb specifications
The PCB's are FR4 matte black finish, that are ROHS compliant. There is a surcharge for ROHS-ENIG finish.
I will post some examples of PCB's in this topic. I expect people that are interested to instal the app. Its rather cumbersome to use the diyaudio PM system or email.

Autobias/bias servo plug in module.
This is a dual autobias/bias servo plug in module. that is 2x2In. whit mounting holes and headers on a imperial 1/10 or 2.54mm grid. Hence it is possible to mount this PCB on a piece of Veroboard.
This is one of the simplest bias servo's in existence for push pull designs. It is dual so suitable for one channel of a push pull amplifier.
The sense resistors for the module are external. By choosing different sense resistor or taking a different reference diode the current through the tubes can be varied.
BEWARE THAT THIS SIMPLE INTEGRATOR WILL NEED A TIME DELAYED +5V otherwise it will upregulate the bias on cold tubes. And due to the long time constant involved the bias will rise to several 100 milliamperes for a few seconds before the tubes warm up.
A eagle Library is available for this board. so you can use it as a component in new designs.

Autobias/Bias servo module board.
This is a board for use with the plug in boards posted earlier. It has a time delay for the +5V of the autobias boards.
It also features a watchdog/protection circuitry that disables the input of the NE555 based time delay if the bias for some reason fails. Ive used a TL431 as a comparator here. And by dimensioning R11 for 1K per volt the module will disable the bias servo's if the bias voltage for some reason drops.
The design is not completely finalized yet. I want to add pads to the secondary of the PCB mount transformer so it can also run from 6.3VAC. heater supply if you want.

Sounds like you’ve done a lot of work for this. Looks nice. Sounds like the us market is a no go ?
You can still join the group, and we'll work something out. i have more than a dozen PCB designs that are ready to order.
I opted to try a telegram group simply because its convenient. Email or PM's takes up a lot of time.

I’ll do that and thanks for the invite
I’d like to find something to make with all of the tubes and transformers I have from a old 60’s organ

Dual PL36 based maida regulator
This is a board for a tube/solid state type regulator. Maida style.
These make a simple low noise supply for amplifiers or preamps.
The pass tubes are two EL36 or PL36. The E130L will also fit if you want. however those require a floating screen supply.
The pass tubes can be operated in triode. Or tetrode by means of a jumper on the board. Tetrode connection means that the LM317(HV) wont see that much input-output differential. And makes a wide output supply possible. E.G. a 1.25-350V experimenting supply.
You can either use a TL783 or LM317 in this board. however the 783 has a minimum load current of approx 10mA.

LM317(HV) EL34/KT88/6L6 tube maida
This is a tube based maida designed around the same lines as the one posted previously. However its for a single octal pass tube.
Sockets are Belton octals.
These are very useful boards for feeding a preamp or RIAA.
These are meant to be built inside an enclosure. not under chassis. i can make slight alterations to make these under chassis mount.

Stabilised bias supply board.
These are boards that take two relatively inexpensive 48V 250mA transformers supplied by TME.
These are useful for a number of applications, most bias supplies are kind of flimsy. this board fixes that so you can use the bias supplies for circuits that feature for example power drive. One of the things i like to do in my designs is use a DN2540 in the tail of of a long tailed pair and connect that to the bias supply.
Board dimensions are either 50x190mm or 50x140mm if you cut the board down.
And the boards feature a TL783 regulator mounted on a SK129 heatsink.
You can choose to use a single transformer. there are milling lines in the board that enable you to cut the board down to use a single transformer.
You can use two of those transformers. with the windings either in series or in parallel. Set by a number of 10mm jumpers.
Ive put some 120V zeners over the regulator to protect it during start up in a capacitive load.
I beleive there are also dual 18V output transformers available in the same footprint.
Asking €7.50 for these board for black finish ENIG-ROHS.

DHT Heater regulator for transmitter tubes 10-20V 5A
This is a board for a DHT regulator for tubes such as the 211/845/813 or GM70 just to name a few of the popular transmitter tubes.
This PCB operates as a voltage controlled current source. And as a voltage source for low frequencies. Similar to some commercial offerings.
The FET that does the current control is a IXTH80n075L2 linear FET, with incredible DC SOA and is expected to survive the worst abuse.
Datasheet can be found here:
https://m.littelfuse.com/~/media/el...n-channel_linear_ixt_80n075_datasheet.pdf.pdf
Connectors are standard 6.3mm Faston.
There is on board rectification by means of four TO220 diodes. The five main filter caps are 7.5mm pitch 18mm diameter types. The capacitance and voltage rating of these depends on wether you want to use the module for 10 or 20V output.
The sense Resistors used are either two 100mOhm 3W metal-oxide types. Or A TO-247 package 50mOhm type.
The PCB is meant to be mounted on a RAD-A5723/100 heat-sink that is approximately 1.1K/W.
The board is completely through hole, however i have yet to look for a DIP-8 opamp that is rated to drive capacitive loads. If my search turns up zilch i will revert back to a SOIC-8 part in that position.
If there is enough interest, i will extend the group buy to some of the used components such as the FET and the heatsink.

EL84 ECC83 EF86 amplifier PCB
This is a 100x100mm board for a EL84 push Pull amplifier.
There is a EF86 driver and ECC83 phase splitter.
I think its a variation on a Mullard design.
The Sockets are mirrored. and there are holes in the centers of the sockets. so the PCB's can be used to mark out the holes in the top plate.
Asking €5 each for black ENIG-ROHS Finish boards.
