Just trying to figure out what you are asking as it is worded kind of strange. But what do you mean by new car? I mean, why does it matter if it is a new car or old car?
Which brand subs do you prefer for newly buy cars?
Fi Car Audio for new cars, definitely! 😎
B&C 18IPAL works very good with switched car audio amps like the Soundigital 5000.1 EVO.
The best part is that you don't need so many drivers when running B&C 18IPAL in a HROAR (8th order mixed Helmholtz and Quarter wave bandpass box) with 5 kw of power to each one. 😉

... at the moment. Just move a lot of air cleanly without lugging a lot of wood.
However, PowerSoft's OEM sales only policy is getting in my development way.
My interest is small venue applications, which no one is addressing.

Missed the "CAR" application. The only time this unit will see the back-end of a vehicle is when it's being transported to a venue. WHG

Add 6 dBs to the graph below 60 hz for cabin gain. One B&C 18IPAL in a HROAR with 2200 watts.
This one is $137 @ Amazon usually and loves a ROAR too!
Sd 507
Fs 38.1
Vas 22.5
Qes .34
Qms 5.1
Qts .32
Xmax 16
Pmax 1500
Re 3.92
Le 4.12(Bl 20 vs 28 in Lossey Function @ Horn Response)
Skar Audio ddx12d2. The 10” version isn’t too bad either. The rest of that brand is kinda iffy....
The JL Audio brand is what I prefer, and especially the JL Audio 10W6v3-D4.
Reason being the basket, housing the voice coil, terminals frame, and the cone is made of a very stiff cast alloy. This has an effect on the sound of the speaker by drastically reducing any potential distortion.
It speaker that delivers 600 watts RMS. The cone is made of a durable and tough Polypropylene. It produces a deep and resonating bass that is clear and very defined even at higher volumes. The frequency response is 22-200Hz. It delivers a good transient response.
Not particularly cheap compared with some of its competitors, but it is well made. Regardless of that, it is still one of the best car subwoofers on the market.
If you need any help deciding check out the Which Mount Sub blog and in particular the best subwoofers.
Hope this helps 🙂
