Also Sharp uses the hybrid technology for several funktions. By chance I discover such a thing for flyback power amps in televisions. The type is IX1791CE (IX 1791CE 1791 IX1791)

thank you for this advice. Are there anywhere cross reference lists, where is to find out the associated Sanken (or Sanyo) type to the rebranded version?
If not, it is always necessary to analyse the internal circuit for comparing.

amazing stuff you are showing. I wonder how many knew that all these Sanyo, Technics, National, Kenwood, Trio, Matshushita, JVC. etc are part of Panasonic. It is one of the largest electronic companies in the world, so one may wonder why all their subsidiaries used similar technologies.

I repair and technics sa-ax710 receiver, the RSN36S5-A module was one channel broken. Now the unit get pretty hot so i wonder if its class-A mode or the module is still using too much current.
Does anybody have information about RSN36S5-A module?

I've trashed a couple of receivers because one of these modules went out. I have a few working modules but no pair.

Are there any reputable sources of new units? Any NOS? It would have been nice to fix one of the receivers,

People want their old stuff restored. They want it to look as original as possible. If they didn't care, they would trash a 25 year old unit and buy a $100 Sony receiver from Crutchfield, right? Obvious changes can affect the value of some collectibles.
