Looks promising for cabinets if they create larger boards or sheets. Has anyone here already tried the 3M glass fibre reinforced polyurethane boards? Particularly interested of you got them in the UK?

Very cool! Would be very interesting material to work with plus it seems it preserves the natural look of the wooden sheets
Wouldn't pressing and making them dense move vibrations and resonances to upper frequency range ?
I read harbeyh used comparatively thin panels and by that had more control over them.
I could be wrong as i read it long time a go.

3M's reinforced PU boards are available in the UK. They are often distributed through specialized suppliers rather than mainstream retailers. Duckboats is one of them.https://www.zmescience.com/science/news-science/meet-superwood-a-miracle-material/

I first saw this soetime ago when they made a knife to illustrate the tech.
Boards could (should?) betreated like a solid wood. My fir ones are made from wood flooring which are narrower starting boards.

Exactly. Move any potential resonances up high enuff nin frequency sothat they are very unlikely to ever get excited by the music. A whole other topic with lots of discussion here already.

Thank you, I think though carbon would look awesome for speakers I then wouldn't be able to afford any drivers or crossover 🙂Or ...
