Yeasterday evening I went to movies and watched latest Dylan movie. Boy was I impressed of the artistic and recording quality of music performances! Timotee Chalamet and Monica Barbaro sang and played amazingly well and sountrack has minimal effects and compression. . Vintage instruments and mics were used.

Lately I have been listening to a Turkish band called Altin Gun on YouTube. The musicianship and sound quality is excellent, with a blend of 70’s psychedelic rock and dance music with a middle eastern flair. One of the members plays an electric bouzouki type instrument at crazy speeds. The lyrics take a bit of getting used to but the music makes up for it. The more you listen, the more you like. Especially memorable for their session on KEXP radio.
