Hopefully that’s for the pair?$299 AUD ea apparently.
Please please, let there be a matching MA200-W woofer like the 12p/w with lower fs and higher xmax coming too. The two together would be awesome.
I would cross my 5.3’s over to the 200 Multi at 400hz in a sealed cab and the W in a MLTL up to 100hz, that would be seriously impressive.
I’ve been waiting for a bigger driver to pair with my 5.3’s so I will be getting these at launch.

The MA200 is classed by tham as a multi-purpose unit -you'll note that they avoid using the words 'full range', 'wide band' or similar.
In fairness, it's already got a substantially higher Xmax than, say, most roughly price equivalent 8in Seas / Scan units, so you'd need to go toward subwoofers (which MA aren't interested in making) to get substantially more, and a 33Hz Fs is in the mean zone for most similar size units.

@Scottmoose I know you’ve been ill, I’ve only just got over it too but have you got rough ideas on how this will perform? How does it perform vs say the 12PW?
Depends how you mean by perform? For a start it's nearly 30% larger with a slightly higher linear travel range so outright power-handling / dynamic range is substantially higher. For the rest, you can probably compare some of the boxes I did for the 12PW relative to those for the new unit (both on the MA site) to get a rough idea where things lie as far as LF loading is concerned.

Quit reading my mind please ;^)

I don't think there's a fixed release date for given regions so much as 'whenever a given distributor / dealer puts in & receives their twice (or whatever) yearly stock order'. With some exceptions, it tends to be rare for distributors / dealers, especially smaller ones, to order, say, a half-pallet of a specific drive unit separately, as it significantly raises the shipping / import costs, which is going to be difficult for them to absorb in the current economic climate.
Being produced -as for picking up, depends when he puts his next order in, if he includes them (probably) & how long it takes to assemble the order & then container ship from HK, so YMMV on that front. Hopefully this year, but he'll be able to confirm when able.
Can anyone recommend a small box design and a driver for a simple single mono speaker. It’s to sit on a shelf and for background music/radio in a dining room.
There isn’t much of price difference between the larger unirs. 10.3/CHR120/Pluvia11.
The new one sounds good with bid SD

P11/A11ms fit a pretty small box.
My first thot for the application was CHN-50. They only come in pairs thou.

I have a multitude of MA drivers now, and feel a miniOnken style with a big driver would look good.
On a side note, would anyone be interested in buying some 3D printed single baffle waveguides that would allow the CHN-40 to easily be mounted, and allow for as close driver placement with a neat chamfered waveguide to hide the not so pretty metal basket?

CHR-120 in isobaric could be fun. Any reason not to try other than increased driver costs?

Thanks Dave, that looks super cool. Are these free or paid plans?
Most of the plans are paid, i usually release a CGR for free. https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/planet10-hifi-minionken-plan-set-subscriptions.186350/
